lang="EN-GB">PhD studentship – Highly efficient integrated
generation of energy from biomass and waste using MIP
gasification and fuel cell technology<o:p></o:p></span></h3>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">We have a fully funded PhD
studentship in collaboration with Stopford Energy and
Environment available for a September 2017 start. The project
will investigate the efficient conversion of energy in a fuel
cell, using gas generated from plasma microwave technology,
and is in collaboration with Stopford Energy and Environment.
The project will be based at the Department of Engineering in
Lancaster University, a research-intensive, top-10 UK
university in the North West of England (<a
href="http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/engineering">www.lancaster.ac.uk/engineering</a>),
and it is fully funded for three years (tax free stipend of
£15,000/year). We are looking for a Chemical or Mechanical
Engineering graduate, preferably with laboratory experience
and interest in fuel cells. Deadline for applications is the
17<sup>th</sup> July.
