Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to join us on 14-15 June 2018 for the 
*Seminar /"PCMs4Buildings - PCMs:Thermophysical characterization and 
buildings' applications"

The Seminar will take place in the Department of Chemical Engineering of 
the University of Coimbra.

This 2-days Seminar aims to disseminate the first results of the ongoing 
research project "PCMs4Buildings 
<http://adai2016.wixsite.com/pcms4buildings>" (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-016750 
| PTDC/EMS-ENE/6079/2014), concerning the main challenges of the 
thermophysical characterization of phase change materials (PCMs) and the 
analysis of the thermal behavior of some PCMs-based applications for 
buildings.

Several international key-speakers and Portuguese research groups with 
relevant research on PCMs and thermal energy storage systems are invited 
to bring their contribution to the discussion.

The afternoon of the second day is devoted to the *Workshop 
-"Thermophysical characterization of PCMs"*. The Seminar and the 
Workshop are free, but registration is required. Participants can 
register for only the Seminar or the Workshop, or for both

Participants can submit an extended abstract (up to 3 pages). The 
Organization will choose _5 works to be publicly presented as flash 
presentations_ during the event, and other works to be _presented as 
posters_ during the posters sessions. The selected abstracts will be 
included in the Book of Abstracts of the Seminar.

Abstract Submission: May 4th, 2018
Notification of Acceptance: May 14th, 2018
Poster Submission: June 4th, 2018
