On 22 March 2021, Fecc will be organising a webinar on the topic of 'Chemical waste as a resource – examples from the distribution sector<https://circulareconomy.europa.eu/platform/en/news-and-events/all-events/chemical-waste-resource-examples-distribution-sector>', in partnership with the European Commission initiative EU Industry Week. The session highlights opportunities for and practical experiences with using high-quality second-hand chemicals while connecting a variety of different value chains.



Speakers include:

  *   Ms Dorothee Arns (Director General, Fecc)
  *   Ms Marianne Lyngsaae (Quality System Manager, REACH and Biocide Advisor, Brenntag Nordic A/S)
  *   Mr Jakob Bjerg Larsen (Head of Clinical Trials and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Policy, Lif - Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry)
  *   Mr Henrik Søren Larsen (Ministry of Environment and Food, Environmental Protection Agency, Denmark)
  *   Mr Enrique Garcia-John (Policy Officer, Waste Management & Secondary Materials, European Commission - DG Environment)

The webinar will showcase the industrial, member state (Denmark) and Commission perspective and Fecc will showcase the unique contribution of chemical distributors for implementing the circular economy in practice.
