Ciengis SA, a European supplier of non-linear model predictive control 
technologies and industrial process optimization and monitoring solutions,
has an opening for a Business Development Specialist at its office in Coimbra, 
Portugal. The responsibilities include:
 
prospecting new customers, understanding their requirements, proposing 
technical solutions, elaborating and negotiating tenders and contracts, 
developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, liaising with the 
technical teams and partners, and meeting established sales targets.

Requirements:
- MSc degree in Chemical Engineering or in a Process Control related field
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- ability to work in a dynamic and result oriented sales environment
- experience in technical sales to process industries is an advantage
- good command of the English language
- availability for international travel
