EnviroNet
EnviroNet is a network of teachers, scientists, environmental
educators and others who utilize telecommunication to enhance environmental science education.
National Pollution Prevention Center for Higher Education (NPPC)
The EPA created the NPPC in 1991 to collect, develop, and disseminate educational materials on pollution prevention; the University of Michigan was selected as the site. The NPPC
represents a collaborative effort between business and industry, government, non-profit organizations, and academia.
National Center for Environmental Research and Quality Assurance (EPA NCERQA)
NCERQA, located in Washington, DC, has primary responsibility to issue and manage research grant and fellowship
programs. The center's programs are designed to expand the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) science and
technology base and the pool of qualified environmental professionals.
Interactive Remote Instructional System (IRIS)
Wright State University's IRIS is an international distance learning
program in hydrogeologic and environmental science, policy and engineering.
